St. John Makes it a Two-fer at Trinity Valley
After the earlier commitment of Athens (Texas) Trinity Valley C.C. defensive tackle Quincy Russell many thought that Josiah St. John's announcement that he would commit later in the day on Wednesday had to be connected. However, the 6-foot-6, 305-pound three-star offensive tackle says that it was a conversation with his father that sparked his decision making process.
As St. John isn't graduating from Trinity Valley until May there was no rush on his choice but he simply felt it was time to bring recruiting to an end by announcing his commitment to Oklahoma.
"It just kind of happened, my dad and I were talking about schools and he was saying 'if you know what you want, why wait?' I knew I wanted to go to OU so I decided to get it over with," St. John said.
